Producer share of commission: 50% on new business and 30% on renewals.

Hybrid schedule based in Tampa.

Service and admin support so you can focus on selling.

Steadwell is a new kind of insurance agency. We pair experienced insurance people with AI tools that handle research, follow-up and paperwork, so you spend your time with clients and prospects.

We are opening in the US and you would be one of our first employees. That means major upside, a real say in how we sell and serve, and the chance to build something exciting from day one.

• You will win and grow commercial middle-market accounts. You bring the relationships. We give you the platform, the support and the tools to move faster than a traditional agency.

• Prospect and win commercial P&C accounts, with a focus on the middle market.
• Move your own book or build one: referrals, centers of influence, and targeted outreach.
• Run discovery, assess exposures, and design coverage programs.
• Lead carrier and wholesaler strategy for new business and renewals.
• Present proposals and close.
• Work with the service team on smooth onboarding and long-term retention.
• Use our AI tools for prospect research, submissions and follow-up, and help us improve them.
• Help set the sales playbook for Steadwell in Florida.

• Active Florida property and casualty license (2-20 or 4-40).
• Proven commercial lines production, ideally in the middle market, with a track record you can show.
• A portable book or a clear plan to build one.
• Strong network in the Tampa Bay region or across Florida.
• Solid technical knowledge across property, GL, auto, umbrella, workers comp and professional lines.
• Entrepreneurial drive. You want ownership, not a desk in a big shop.
• Open to working with AI tools in your daily workflow.
